作为东南大学的教授，我可以把我喜欢的两件事——教学和研究结合起来. I always have new opportunities to learn – scientific research moves quickly; from one semester to the next there are new findings to incorporate into classes, and in the lab we are always finding new questions to ask and making new discoveries; in this setting I have the opportunity to work closely with students and mentor them as they put what they’ve learned in class to use. 看到学生们受到科学的启发, 反过来，激励我成为一个更好的老师和科学家是一个非常有益的过程!
